Kōwhai is one of the most easily identifiable native New Zealand trees. All parts of this stunning plant including the inner bark, outer bark, flowers, leaves, sap and extract are used in rongoā (traditional Māori healing system). Kōwhai can be used for cuts, bruising, infected skin, wounds, shingles, dandruff, itchiness, and skin diseases.
You may notice a very slight variation from batch to batch as we use natural and botanical ingredients in our handcrafted small batches.
Shake well before use. Lightly dab a small amount on bites, stings, sunburn and other minor skin irritations to quickly soothe and relieve itching. Increase cooling sensation by storing in the fridge.
Reapply as needed. Store away from direct heat and sunlight.
This is excellent to have on hand for any bites or stings. Works well for general itches too. It works quickly and I highly recommend it.

This is fabulous. I react badly to mozzie bites so prevention is better than cure for me but this stuff works. And I love it cold out of the fridge. I'll be taking this wherever I go I think
