Shipping, Returns and Payment
New Zealand
Flat rate of $8.75 to urban addresses.
Flat rate of $11.50 for rural deliveries.
Free delivery for orders over $180
International
Shipping is based on volume and weight and is calculated at checkout.
We generally dispatch orders within 1-2 business days of receiving your order and payment. Typically, we ship on the same or the next day.
New Zealand Couriers is our shipping carrier within New Zealand. We use an overnight service and, typically, parcels arrive the next working day to urban areas. You should allow 2-3 extra business days for deliveries to rural addresses. Note that our carrier does not deliver to PO Boxes.
Your parcel will be tracked and marked as signature required delivery. Shipping and tracking information will be sent via an automated email, when your parcel is collected by the courier.
If you instruct the courier to leave the parcel without obtaining a signature (e.g. leave parcel at back door), Nature Body will not be liable for any loss or damage for parcels that were marked as delivered under this authority to leave.

Yes, we do! We offer international shipping to Australia, USA, Canada, Asia and the UK. For international shipments, we use DHL, which provides full tracking.
Typically, the delivery time for overseas parcels is approximately 2-10 days, though it may be a bit longer for addresses farther from main centres.
Please note we are unable to ship to international PO or Military Boxes.
Any taxes and/or duties payable in the country of delivery (or other charges incurred whilst in transit) are the customer’s responsibility.

Faults and damages
If your products are damaged or faulty, please contact us as soon as possible.
We will respond within two working days and provide a suitable remedy.
Please keep the defective/damaged product(s) as we may require you to return it
Wrong product or quantity received
If you think the wrong product or quantity has been sent, please contact us as soon as possible.
We will organise for right product(s) to be dispatched to you within two working days.
Please keep the incorrect product(s) as we may require you to return it.
Change of mind exchanges
If you have changed your mind or ordered a product in error, we will exchange unused products for another product of your choice. Your product must be unopened and in still-new condition. Contact us to arrange the exchanges within 14 days of receipt of the product(s).
Nature Body is not responsible for any of the shipping costs associated with a change of mind exchange.

If your parcel is unreasonably delayed, please contact us. We will work with our carrier to identify any issue and keep you in the loop.
In the unlikely event of a parcel being determined as lost by the carrier, we will resend your order.

- Direct Deposit: You can transfer payment directly into our New Zealand bank account (NZ customers only).
- Credit Card: We offer a secure online payment system on our website, allowing you to pay with your credit card.
- AfterPay: Use your AfterPay account to pay for your order.
Please note that all our products are priced in New Zealand Dollars (NZD), as we are a 100% New Zealand-owned and operated family company.

We're committed to providing you with truly natural products. We believe in full transparency, and you can find a list of all our ingredients on our website and product labels. There are no hidden chemicals in our formulations. We use natural emulsifiers and preservatives to ensure product quality. Additionally, we prioritise sourcing local ingredients wherever possible. To take it a step further, we make our own kawakawa oil ingredient using plants grown on our whānau land. Our dedication to natural, ethical, and eco-conscious ingredients is at the core of our brand.
Absolutely not! At Nature Body, we are proud to be cruelty-free. We do not conduct any animal testing. Instead, we thoroughly test our products on ourselves – that's the fun and adventurous part of crafting natural solutions! Our commitment to animal welfare is unwavering.

Zero Waste
Yes! We love it when customers help us keep the Earth green. If you have clean Nature Body glass jars or glass bottles, you can return them to us, and we'll gladly recycle them. As a token of our appreciation, we offer a $1 discount per returned glass item off your next purchase. Just get in touch with us on email to arrange the return. (The record so far is 48 jars & bottles returned in one go!)
Yes, we sell refills for our Nettle Shampoo and Nettle Conditioner, as well as Remineralising Toothpowders. Return your Nature Body shampoo and conditioner bottles for refilling and receive a discount of $3 per bottle. Contact us on email to arrange this eco-friendly refill service.
Remineralising Toothpowder refills are available to purchase online and are packaged in sturdy paper bags. We recommend you decant the toothpowder into an airtight jar once you receive it.
We're dedicated to minimising waste in our packaging. We use cardboard boxes for shipping our products, and smaller items are sent in padded paper satchels. You can reuse and recycle your Nature Body packaging!
Wood wool
Our wood wool is sustainably sourced, 100% natural, and made from untreated timber.

Packing Tape
Our paper tape is made from sustainable forestry initiative paper. It has natural rubber and resin based adhesive and is recyclable on paper items at curbside.
Foam Packing Peanuts (international orders)
100% compostable, starch packing peanuts made in New Zealand. Reuse or to discard, simply dissolve in water or place in your compost.
Boxes
Please consider reusing your cardboard box/carton, otherwise it is recyclable.
A5 Satchels
Our jiffy satchels are padded paper mailers. The stuffing is 100% recycled and the whole mailer can be placed in curb side recycling.
Twine
Our twine/string is made of 100% hemp
Lids
Our jar lids are made from recyclable plastic.
Glass jars and bottles
Please consider reusing or recycling your NB glass jars and bottles or return them to us for a recycling credit!
Don’t forget that we offer a Shampoo and Conditioner refill service, Toothpowder refill bags, and a recycling credit for every glass jar or bottle returned to us! We believe in reducing waste wherever we can in our business operations.
