Grain Free, Low Carb Bread Recipe

This grain free bread is easy to make, tastes yummy, holds together well so makes great sandwiches, and is perfect for anyone on a teeth-healing protocol.
- 7 free range eggs, separated
- 1 tsp cream of tartar (optional)
- 1/4 cup cream cheese
- 2 TBSP apple cider vinegar
- 5 TBSP coconut oil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 TBSP baking powder
- 1 cup ground flaxseed
- 1 cup ground almonds
- 1/4 cup psyllium husks
- 1/2 cup water
How to make
- Preheat oven to 180C.
- Whisk the egg whites with cream of tartar in a large bowl until stiff, set aside.
- In another bowl, beat the egg yolks, with cream cheese, apple cider vinegar, add coconut oil as it mixes, until thickened, with electric mixer.
- Mix the salt, garlic powder, ground flaxseed, ground almonds & psyllium husk in a bowl.
- Add egg yolk mix to the whites, then the water, plus the dry mix, and gently mix well until all combined.
- Pour into a lined loaf tin, place in oven and bake for 50-55 minutes.
- Leave to cool, then use as you would any other bread. It's really delicious with avocado and salt!
